By registering with us on any of the courses/ classes offered, you agree to the Terms and Conditions laid out as below.

Terms & Conditions

General Terms

Most noteworthy:

To book any of our classes/ courses/ workshops, you can do so through our website on the “classes page”,  however the best and easiest way moving forward is to book via the GloFox app – our official booking/purchase app. Download the app onto your phone ensuring push notifications are active when you download so that we can communicate to you via the app. Before purchasing items, you will be required to register a profile using your basic personal information. 

Information required when registering: name, email address and telephone number. If you continue to purchase services, you will also be asked to register payment details.

We operate our classes in 5 different formats:

Drop-in classes: a single purchase class, on date of your choice, on a PAYG basis. No membership registration required. Drop-in classes are available for those unable to commit to a course.

Courses: courses run on a 4 week cycles.  All cycles run for the first 4 Mondays and Thursdays of every month, unless indicated otherwise. Where there is a month with 5 weeks, there will be no classes on the Monday or Thursday of the 5th week.  For further discounts and benefits, register for free to one of our membership packs to secure appropriate discounts and volume reductions.

Workshops: a single purchase special class, on date of your choice, on a PAYG basis. No membership registration required. These classes are bespoke (with a duration as indicated on the event link)  and offer a deeper dive into a particular subject matter. They do not run consistently and are indicated on our events calendar or specific class page.

Performance course classes: Working on specific choreography for an agreed period of time, usually 4 – 6 months commitment required. Commitment to as many weekly classes as possible and a goal of performance at the end is mandatory is required. These courses are closed to drop-ins. Membership is required, and will auto renew for up to 4 months minimum and continue on after this if the course is extended.

Private lessons: 1-on-1 tuition for individuals, couples or small groups that are looking to learn in a way that best suits them and at a time that is most convenient. These lessons are scheduled outside of normal classes/ courses/workshops and need to be arranged with the trainer directly. See page 1-ON-1 for further information regarding private lessons, specific details re duration and price. 

General:

All studio classes are currently being offered in person only, with no online class option available at this time. Only private lessons and wedding dance choreography can be offered online.

We reserve the right to adjust the schedule and /or fees with reasonable notice.

Esencia Libre and any of the associated staff/ contractors working with or representing the company, accept no liability for loss or damage to personal items/ property brought on site or occurring at the premises, due to negligence or however otherwise arising. There are no lockers/ storage offered.

The Member agrees to indemnify Esencia Libre, their staff and/or representatives, individual or otherwise, of any claims to financial remuneration as a result of injury (physical, emotional or otherwise), loss of or damage to personal belongings and/or actions deemed as neglectful whilst on any of the Esencia Libre UK hired premises or whilst participating in activities for or in association with Esencia Libre UK.

No exclusive couples memberships/ discounts are offered, but temporarily throughout the year offers will be published which you could access in order to secure this discount.

Student discounts are offered to anyone with a valid student identification. Send support@esencialibre.co.uk an email with proof of your valid student status (front+back side of student ID card) and we will be happy to apply a further 15% discount on advertised prices to classes, courses and workshops. A private membership link will require pre-registration prior to booking classes to secure these discounted prices.

Any merchandise purchased for/ on behalf of students of the school will be strictly non refundable or changeable as we get all items custom made based on individual orders. Pleasure ensure you check the sizing charts prior to placing your order so that you happy with the agreed.

We reserve the right to ask participants to leave with no refund offered, for reasons including but not limited to dangerous, disruptive or offensive behaviour; inappropriate clothing likely to cause injury; any apparent use of alcohol or drugs abuse whilst on site.

We will not tolerate any form of prejudice or racial slander and we embrace and encourage our staff, contractors and attendees’ differences in age, colour, disability, ethnicity, family or marital status, gender identity or expression, language, national origin, physical and mental ability, political affiliation, race, religion, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, veteran status, and other characteristics that make these groups unique. If you feel you have been mistreated in any way, please do communicate to the company directors, either Kathleen Gosling or Edward Torres.

Esencia Libre UK are not responsible for any risk assessment & or actionable H&S points from the venue itself. This is managed directly by the venue.

We are a sole trading company, registered with an official UTR number. 

We are covered by Public Liability insurance with Insure4Sport. If you wish to see our certificate, please speak to the company director: Kathleen Gosling for further information.

Terms & Conditions

Payment, Refunds & Reimbursement Terms

All purchases are completed through GoCardless via Glofox, and they accept methods of payment including: Direct debit, Visa & Mastercard.  All fees are inclusive of 20% local tax, 2.4% total fee transaction cost + 0.20c per transaction.

Each course purchased is valid for 1 person only and cannot be swapped between attendees. If you are looking to purchase on behalf of someone, you must purchase 2 items. Courses and class bundles are not transferable to others.

Each course is specific to the purchased dance style indicated in the title of the course and cannot be varied between alternate courses/ class styles. 

In the case of absenteeism, no classes can be swapped, rescheduled &/or refunded. No rescheduling or refunds are offered for workshops, intensive courses, special events in case of absenteeism either. Your package will still expire at the end of that calendar month.

Payments for performance courses are collected via direct debit, either from a bank account / card. If refund/ partial refund is required, please note that we are unable to process a refund for a transaction until 7 business days following the transaction made.

Private Class Packages – Once a package is purchased this is non-refundable. Trainer can be changed/ adjusted if you feel strongly about this and will be considered on a case by case basis.

In the case of injury, each case will be assessed individually and considered, in regards to how to progress ie. postponement, cancellation with partial/ full refund. Refunds will be processed and returned to the member’s card/bank account in approximately 1-2 business days. On occasion, it can take as long as 5-10 business days, depending on the issuer/bank.

In the rare case of class/ course cancellation, we will communicate to you via the GloFox app. Please ensure push notifications are active when you download so that you can receive these vital communications. Where a teacher is unable to attend their own class they/ the school will supply a cover teacher.  Refunds will not be given on that basis. We will always do all we can to cover teachers / stand-ins where possible, but in the instance where it is out of our control and class needs to be cancelled, we will notify you of the cancellation via Glofox &/or email.

If Esencia Libre is required to cancel any of its own events, refunds will be issued. Refunds/partial refunds will be processed and returned to the member’s card/bank account in approximately 1-2 business days. On occasion, it can take as long as 5-10 business days, depending on the issuer/bank.

All refunds processed will incur an admin fee of  £5.00.
